Our food got delivered to the wrong address to a mix up so it was cold however when we rang a new one was sent which was fast and hot there was no issue and it was really easy. Food was lovely

I use this indian all the time the food tonight was wonderful king prawn puri yummy big juicy king prawns in a puri bread with a side fresh salad also chicken tikka masala & chicken tikka naga chili ong yummy mushroom rice garli nan all delivered fast hot fresh we also got complimentary popadoms thank you.

Spice used to be a good takeaway but, the quality is not good enough now. I won't be ordering anything from them anymore.

The food was blant, didn't taste like much at all. The chicken was dry, in two different dishes. The vegetable curry was clearly made using frozen vegetables mix. The vegetable pakora was breaded and burnt. The yoghurt dip was some indistinguishable industry mix. When I walked in the store to pick up takeaway order, the food wasn't ready at specified time, so had time to lock at filthy room. I will not go there again. Better places in town.

Waste of money, I want to give them '0' star but isn't available.
We ordered Stuffed Paratha and they sold us bluffed Paratha ,
They lied that they stuff vegetable inside the Naan and Paratha. There wasn't any vegetable in stuffed paratha and Naan. They just apply curry paste to fool people that they will believe some stuffing in it. They sent us half cooked Naan and Paratha which can harm your stomach. They are Just scaming people , If they do not know how to cook food then they just need to close the shop . Pathetic quality of food . See pictures

Worst stuffed naan and stuffed parantha ever eaten with no stuffing literally. Vegetable curry not cooked properly either. Wont be recommending this place for Indian food at all!

I have had many takeaways from these guys and never had problems but last night when I ordered some garlic naan, I could not differentiate between naan and popadom. The naan was really crunchy which is not suppose to and did not have a hint of garlic. Really disappointed this time.

I don’t often eat Indian as a takeaway - sometimes it just doesn’t “work”
But this did - great food - good portions arrived on time at a reasonable price.

First driver was poor
Didn’t have any manners, dropped my food and blamed me. After talking to restaurant the manager came out and replaced food. Was very polite and apologetic

One of the worst curries I had tonight. The flavour profile was ok but we all had chicken dishes (x3) the it was solid horrible meat over cooked and must have been frozen chunks at one point. In end throw it away. Stay away from here

Disappointing.
The dupiaza and the balti were flavourless and definitely no spice.
The sweeter Currys, korma and butter, were good, but the sundries also lacked flavour.
The people are very friendly and the food was ready to be collected on time.
Maybe the chef was off on a Monday but I won't be going back.

Was Really really disappointed, been waiting for over two hours. The food was cold plus I called them up and they wouldn’t even do a discount ? The chicken was also dry. Won’t be going to the spice again

Service is great, owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to please customers. Food is sadly a tad dissapointing; onion bhajis greasy, mushrooms undercooked, naan bread undersized, generally underwhelming.

Probably the worst curry I have had ...I'm a curry conseuer love my Indian food ordered chicken Tikka naga couldn't taste no flavors nor the naga itself ,half portion size and the sauce just oiley very disappointed won't be returning

My favourite Indian takeaway in Saffron Walden and surrounding villages. The staff is really nice, the prices are ok and the place has a five-star hygiene rating. I recommend the Papadams, Chicken Tikka Madras and Egg Fried Rice.

One of the best Indian takeouts I've had. Would really recommend. Staff are always friendly on arrival and food is cooked on time. Just a shame I live to far to get delivery
